Voluntary recall of power rod deodorizing products over 67K

More than 67,000 rolling deodorant cases have been sold nationwide due to unidentified defects.

According to a report by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, AP Deauville, LLC, a manufacturer of Power Stick deodorants, made a voluntary recall of the total case of 67,214 protesters on July 10, 2025.

The Pennsylvania manufacturer did not immediately respond to ABC News' request for comment.

Details of the deodorant recall

Affected products include a fresh power bar for rolling antiperspirant deodorant powder, an invisible protective anti-tilt anti-spiral deodorant spring fresh and a power bar with original nourishment invisible protective anti-roll anti-thorn spiral deodorant.

The uniform kit size for all recalled items is 1.8 oz.

According to the FDA report, the reason for the recall is “CGMP bias”, which indicates the problem of current good manufacturing practices or established procedures and standards outlined in CGMP.

As defined by the FDA, CGMP is a set of regulations that ensure product quality and safety.

The agency notes on its website: “Regulations ensure that the product is safe to use and has the ingredients and power it claims to have.”
